Addison started sleeping in her crib (still using the mini bed) on 12/27. On 12/28 she started sleeping 10-11 hours at night. She is increasing what she eats by 2 oz due to the missed night feeds. She reached out and touched both her mommy and daddy's faces while playing today. She coos and smiles all the time (not for pictures). Occasionally there is a rare giggle. She can roll over from stomach to back but likes to do this best naked. She is almost ready to do back to stomach. She can claps her hands together. She loves her bath, rocking, and talking to her dolls. It is so much fun being her mommy. A friend with a newborn asked me if it got easier. I told her no but it gets much more enjoyable.
What a small world finding another Amy Prather. How crazy we named our daughters the same name. What is Addison's middle name? We named our Addison after my husband's mother Victoria. I will follow your blog now. Happy 2010!

ReplyDeleteYou are right that there are always new challenges, but it definitely helps to not be sleep deprived when you are tackling them! I am so excited for you guys that Addison is sleeping so much at night - I remember that Jonah did that also about 3 months of age, however Wesley waited until 6 months old. :)
