All sorts of news...

Well again it has been a while since our last post and lots has happened.

Ashlyn Jessa was born on Aug 21 at 7:04pm, weighing 7lbs 13oz. Everyone is doing great and Addie already loves being a big sister.

For those outside of Austin, as of today we have broken the record of 100+ degree days at over 70 days so far.

Work for me has been a little exciting as well, lots of changes. I have accepted a position with Dell on the same account and will start Sept 1. This is going to be an excellent opportunity for me to really grow my career and I look forward to starting.

Hope everyone is doing well and we will try and post more frequently.

Wow it's been a while..

Well we haven't posted in almost a year and a lot has happened.

Addie is now 19 months old (will get some pics posted soon).

We lost a pregnancy at 17 weeks. A boy we named Aston J Prather.

We are now pregnant again with a girl and due sometime in August. We are very excited and are working on her room. Today I put my hand on Amy's belly to feel the baby kick and Addie walked up and placed her hand on Amy's belly as well. It was very cute.

Over the weekend we went to Houston:
- Visited with Amy's family
- I got to experience the Space Shuttle Simulator at JSC: http://vimeo.com/23745359
- We took Addie to Galveston and Kemah
- Had a nice visit with the Jennings family

Also I started two batches of wine which is something I haven't done in over two years and it smells great...

Memorial Day Weekend!

Well Thursday before the weekend Addie started crawling forward. (Oh) Our Houston weekend guests were not able to come up due to illness. Fortunately we still had a lot of food and a clean house. Friday Addie turned 8 months old. Neighbors, the Bustamantes and Newsomes stopped by on Friday night for Margaritas and Smores. (Amy's Idea). Saturday we took Addie swimming for the first time. She loved it. Andrew also got his new BBQ grill, a father's day gift. On Saturday Night we had Tiffany Berridge and two of her sons Drew age 4 and Paul age 8 months (20 days older than Addie) and the Newsome to, swim, fajitas, and visiting. Paul is so adorable! A beautiful baby and we have added him to the list of possible husbands for Addie. Addie found him most interesting and would "try" to talk to him sitting inches from him and yelling at the top of her voice. It was hilarious! He would make a few noises back but I think he would have preferred Addison not speak so loudly. She will have to work on her "game." Then on Saturday we had Amy's Cousin Kevin, The Millers with their 7 month old daughter and Addie's friend Hadley. The McDowell's and their children Nolan and 4 month-old daughter Natalie also joined in the baby games. Carol Lee, her mother Grace Lee, Roger Glick, and Green family also joined us. Addie got to go swimming with her friend Hadley. Addie went under water a few times. She was able to not inhale the water but seemed very surprised by the event. She still loves swimming. We cooked hot dogs and swatted at the flies and mosquitoes. Kara Fredley joined us later in the evening. Kevin spent the night and then he took the Prathers out for lunch at China Cafe (Amy's favorite.) We had so much fun.
