And the little one said "Roll Over" . . . .
Our 11 week old baby has a new trick to get out of doing Tummy Time. It is a thrill to see each new accomplishment.
What a cutie!!!!

Though Addison's first trip to Houston was a little rough as soon as we hit traffic, we all had a great visit. Here are pics from Addison's first trip outside of Austin

Addison being cute
Okay this is just Addison being cute. She has the hiccups but I think she says "what?"
Addison saying "hi"
Turn the volume up really loud. Addison says hi at the very end of this short video. She is such an amazing child.

First Halloween
Addison's first Halloween. Lots of visitors in costume and then we loaded her up in the stroller and visited some neighbors. We all had a great time. Here are some pictures from the night.

So once I heard the new Wii Fit Plus game allowed you to weigh babies and pets I couldn't resist. So according to Wii Fit Plus, Addison (aka Addwii) weighs 9lbs and Travis is around 13lbs. Here is our Wii Fit family photo. In case it is not obvious, left to right is Travwii, Andwii, Amwii and Addwii.

Time is flying by.. Addison is already over three weeks old. Here are some pics of her with her Bentley pacifier and enjoying the baby-bejorn.
Results from her two week check up blood work came back and all looks good.
I am very proud of everything that Amy is doing to provide the best for Addison. It is a 24/7 effort and Amy is doing a great job..

Addison's grandparents from Baytown came to visit Thursday through Saturday. During which time her umbilical cord stump finally fell off and she officially has a belly button. Here is a pic of Addison with her grandfather.
Saturday Addison got her first tub bath and loved it. Here is a pic from her first bath and she is blowing everyone a kiss.

Addison has now spent two nights at home and we are all getting used to the change. It's so nice to be home.
Yesterday evening, Addison's godparent's (Tim and Abby) stopped by for a visit. Addison was all curled up in Abby's arms and just napping away.
Later that night Addison got to experience her first Texas storm, from an out of the womb perspective. The very loud lightning didn't seem to phase her as she was secure in Amy's arms.
Also as some of you know, I setup an email account for Addison the day we picked her name. Over that time I have sent her little emails telling about what was going on in our lives and how we looked forward to meeting her. If you would like to send Addison a message to be put in her scrapbook, you can send it to AddisonPrather@gmail.com

Amy and I are pleased to announce the birth of Addison Joy Prather. She was born on Sept 28th at 3:57am and weighed 7.9 lbs, measuring 20 inches. Both of our mothers and cousin Stephanie were able to witness Addison's birth. Amy was in labor for 24 hours and both mother and baby are doing great.
We feel very blessed to have the support of such loving family and friends. The hospital staff made us feel very comfortable with the process and truely went above and beyond.
We came home on Wednesday the 30th and were able to catch up on some very needed sleep.
Addison is doing really well, Amy and I could not be happier.
Considering Addison was 3 weeks early, she is responding well to her environment.

The Sleeping Issues
My precious daughter Addison has her days mixed up with her nights. She sleeps well during the day but would prefer to stay up at night. I thought a video might help explain. Oh and this night she did go to sleep about 2:30 AM to sleep until 4 AM. This part of the video was shot when she awoke at 11:30 PM and was still awake until she went to sleep at 2:30 AM.

For the Sake of Pictures
Amy here: Well everyone says they like seeing pictures. Here are a lot of pictures all taken within the last few days. I can't decide on the pictures so I decided to post several. Sorry there are so many but perhaps the people who have been clamoring for more pictures will be happy. - Isn't my baby beautiful?!.

Clean technology
Today we gave Addison her first towel bath at home. She did not fuss one bit and it really made her hair fuzzy..
Also Addison made her first Skype appearance. We did a Skype call with my parents and of course she was so excited she slept through most of it.
Cousins Stephanie and Will posted some pics from Addison's birth day on their blog at:
